Religious Congress speaks his heart out......

It has always been a silent position, maybe it's different this year. By the way, this position serves that religious concious stand in the Student's Union Of Egerton University.

He is a Christian Union member, taking over from the SDA that was represented last year by Gilbert Juma

Here's is what he has to say

brothers n sisters in eger i salute u all in JESUS NAME.......we av startd the new sem...lets.b responsible of our actions n evrythng we say....lets respect our leaders n also leaders 2 respect evry person in his/her capacity....leaders to remember they r fighting 4 the rights of the students n not their personal benefits or privilenges of their offices as some may say or think...lets work 2getha 2 change eger....GOD bless egerton...GOD bless kenya.

The Seeds of Gold, will be a weekly publication in the Saturday Nation magazine. ~THE JOURNEY OF LOVE~

Someone comes into your life, Befriends you, He or she starts being so special to you, That person becomes so close to you, He or she starts to mean everything to you, you start to miss that person, and you then realize that your life can't go on without him or her, you start missing food and sleep! Your life totally changes. That person promises you heaven on earth and He or she keeps on telling you that he/she is different from the ones you have ever had. You heart gets softened till you surrender it to that special person you call heaven sent.

Everything goes on well, you share good moments... but suddenly, he/she starts to change after getting what they wanted, He or she reduces on the texts and calls, they start to build up many excuses, That sweet heart of yours starts becoming too busy for you...

You start to cry, plead and ask forgiveness but all in vain till you’re dumped and they move on.You get heart-broken; you swear never to fall in love again. You start hating love, you start saying that all men and women are the same basing on what that heartless ex did to you, you start distrusting everyone.

You live a single a life but after sometime, you start admiring your happy friends in love, loneliness squeezes you then you decide to try loving a gain. Another handsome dude or lady comes into your life, you start to think that he or she is heaven sent but still you go through the same process, Friends that’s the journey of love, No one who can escape it and no one who will never get heart broken. So if you have someone who is treating you like a king or a queen, truly and faithfully love that person because true love is hard to find. Do whatever it takes for both of you to last longer. Don’t easily dump that person because of minor disagreements. Call or text that person, meet him or her and apologize.

Value that person’s effort and everything he or she sacrifices for you. Don’t take that person’s love for granted because someone out there yearns for that person’s love and care. They long to replace you one day. Think about it most especially YOU reading this.

As at now……….

New year, new unfolding they say. I know most comrades will hate me at the end of this blog post, but, the reality is_ it’s a new dawn. Maybe it’s time some of us get to invent better survival skills. Yes, this is with regard to the light in the darkness that has illuminated the whole of the CBD. Look at this, you remember when one would walk along the Mama Ngina path unnoticed? When one would get past Taifa without anyone noticing who got through that path? When two lovebirds would sit at the garden opposite Mama Ngina hostel braving the cold all in the name of having that good time that is so rare to find, especially if you are a first time r in love? That time some drunk dude from A-Zone would scream his heart out at the path to south of Uganda hostel all through to Barret and down to Old Hall as he heads to say a big hello to the lady next door? That time that thief would walk majestically from making a kill at those hostels in the CBD unnoticed? That manifesto item a SUEU aspirant would count on for an easy win in the docket of the Director Security and Accommodation as a ticket to winning the vote, especially that of a first year who fears she might loose her delicacy while moving back to the hostel from the wonderful kitchenette?
Well, it’s now so clear that the walk and talk in the dark is no longer in the present but down the lines of history? Why? The high mast flood lights erected right at the roundabout or rather the notice board arena in the CBD tell it all, let there be light. I may not know who to shower credit to but this I am sure, no more double dealing between hostels, no more lip-locking at the Mama Ngina garden, no more walking in fear of the worst with regard to one’s food going to a stomach it wasn’t meant for. An item that aspirant yearns to use on the manifesto is no more, better dig deep into other issues like the corridor light tubes. To that player, the field is now limited, maybe you ought get to a better level for she will see you dong your rounds from the comfort of her window!!!!!!!!!!
To sum it all, the security of our beautiful sisters, girlfriends, course mates and wives to be is at the safest now, the days that the dark hero with a long hand kept making rounds of harvest around the CBD are over. NB: As long as power supply remains constant!
